“ Jose is the best server, we were in Leavenworth for 3 days and both times, he was there to service us. Other than the welcoming service he provided, the food tastes great! We ordered the Wild Salmon on greens the first time we visited and then the fish and chips on our last day. The food was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. He was also very accommodating with any alterations we had or requests for sauces on the side. Me and my boyfriend hope to dine here again the next time we're in town. ”

“ We are trying to see as much of Washington as we can before our cruise. We drove out to Leavenworth for part of a day. We decided to try Gutav's. It was wonderful!! We thought they might have more Bavarian style foods available, but what we got was 10 out of 10. We got the pretzel sticks with cheese sauce and the schnitzel burger. Crystal was our server and did a phenomenal job. ”

“ Came her for lunch/dinner. We were immediately seated and we got to sit outside, on their rooftop area with amazing view to the mountain! We had the shareables of cheese curds, pretzel bread, small fries (yes that's that in the picture, which was enough for 3 people), and the shareable sausages with grilled onion. My drink came in this souvenir bucket that I get to keep after, which was cute. Apparently this restaurant was super close to the area where Alphorn Association of North America gather before they started walking towards downtown to perform. It was so fun to hear them from the rooftop. Although this location also right next to the main street where cars drive by, it wasn't loud at all we could still talk. Amazing view, wonderful service. Would recommend to anyone and would come back again in the future. Prost! ”

“ Been to Leavenworth many times, but this was our first time trying Gustav's. Wish we'd tried it earlier. They have a nice upper deck in good weather. We liked the variety of good salads & sandwiches, and the pretzel sticks [although preferred the stone ground mustard to their cheese sauce]. Also liked the fact it wasn't dedicated to *all* German food [I like German, but also like a change of pace]. They also have a nice selection of beers and cocktails [previously thought it was just a beer pub, and wife doesn't like beer, so that made it a more attractive option]. Staff were very nice and professional. One server [?] even remembered out drink orders from the previous day. Highly recommended, unless you're looking for a "white table cloth" experience. ;) ”

“ This place was so delicious. Jose was such a good waiter, super friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us with everything we needed. My crew got the sausage platter, new tangy chicken sandwich, Gustav burger and kids burger with the platter of fries. All of our food came out quickly and absolutely delicious. Also, if you are a pickle lover know that they will not skimp you out on yummy pickles with your meal. ”
